HYPEROPIA

If the eye is too short, or if the cornea and the crystalline lens are not powerful enough, the rays of light will be focused behind the retina.

This means that a hyperope's vision will deteriorate when objects will be closer. It is possible to compensate light hyperopia when younger than 40Y, but hyperopia will be more and more impairing with age.
